We find out why Pitney Bowes have titled their manifesto The Art of Success, and see what are the benefits of investing in a franking machine.
Mailroom maestro’s Pitney Bowes have released The Art of Success – a manifesto on how to combine efficiency, quality and productivity in line with your budget. This is the Art of Success, and by using it you can create marketing masterpieces.
Communications solutions that bring paper up to date
Pitney Bowes deal in paper communication and invest heavily in innovation and research to keep competitive in an increasingly digital world.
Their success proves that there are some things that the physical object – paper communications – can communicate better than digital. For some messages you have to be real.
Their research includes creating software to make the transition seamless between digital and paper collateral. As a result Pitney Bowes have a suite of multi-function services such as Hybrid Mail services that enable businesses to compose all comms digitally and send them to print remotely, even for mammoth scale print jobs.
Pitney Bowes is presenting The Art of Success at Drupa 2012, a mega print media expo in Dusseldorf.
Christoph Stehmann, Vice President of European Document Messaging Technologies at Pitney Bowes, says “Our Art of Success theme will appeal to businesses of every size looking to gain maximum success and ROI from their customer communications strategy.
“The Pitney Bowes stand is the only place to view technology that spans the entire end-to-end customer communications cycle, and we expect the latest additions to our portfolio to attract interest from around the globe.”
(PS: Frankingly my dear… )
But what about the simple stuff?
Pitney Bowes manufacture franking machines, including award-winning Connect+ machines that combine mail and marketing.
Among the Connect+ functions is the ability to print images across the whole width of the envelope, a promotional extra gear proven by independent researchers* to generate more revenue than plain envelopes.
The simple, convenient truth for businesses is that franking machines are a relatively low cost investment considering their accumulative value. Franked mail costs 30% less, plus an additional 20% (VAT) can be claimed back.
*Leflein Associates have conducted research showing envelopes printed with colourful promotions are up to 2 ½ times more likely to be opened.
*CAP Ventures research shows that colour envelopes result in 34% faster resonse rates and a 32% increase in overall revenue.
